The video is too short to really see what is happening.
Does it back off and do the second probe, or crash after the first one?
It looks like it's backing away after crashing?

Do both the X+, X-, Y+ and Y- all do the same thing?

Is this repeatable, or random?

My suggestion would be to add a message box to display the retract position before the retract move, and see what it is. Then maybe we can figure out why it's not correct?

Hi Gerri,

yes it is repeatable and for x abd y the same. Tried to avoid Z. It is happening after first touch. Maybe I should try delays to find out the exact step

And you didn't edit the macros at all?
There are a few hundred people using the 2017 screen, and nobody else has reported any issues.

You said it used to work fine? But then it started doing this? Something must have changed???

Hi all,

sorry for the delayed answer. As in 99%, thw error sits in front of the monitor.
Seems I edited the wrong line in the text file, I introduced by accident a probe diameter.
This let to an offset and the wrong direction.
Macros are fine.
Thanks to all!
