I think that the latest version uses 2451, the overridden speed, rather than the Sact field.

Yes, Gerry's correct. I think it was UCCNC version 39 they implemented the overridden field so when I updated plugin I used that and done way with having to create a new field.

Thanks Ger21 and Dan911, that done the trick all is working well, but I can only get 18000 rpm max, it should be 24000 rpm I followed all the settings in uccnc, done all the vfd settings, but I must have missed something, I have a 2.2Kw spindle attached to a Huanyang vfd. any ideas?

If your able to post your UCCNC pro file and your HY VFD parameter settings we will be able to get to the source of your problem a lot quicker without guessing.

My guess is check you VFD settings, the proper settings are posted all over cnczone for your combination spindle/VFD.

You have PD001 and PD002 set to 1 and need 2. If you are using a relay for on/off leave PD001 as is and change PD002 to 2.

PD163 1 Vfd address (here 1)
PD164 1 Line Speed(1 for 9600 bauds, this must match com port settings)
PD165 3 (here 8N1 RTU)

Make sure you have RPM only checked in plugin if using a relay for on/off otherwise PD001 needs 2 also.

Hi Dan911, the vfd parameter set up that is attached is the original set up before I used the plug in, the set up I am using is the one that comes with the plug in and Pd001 and Pd002 are set to 2 as per the instructions that came with the plug in, I followeds the plug in instructions, but the max rpm is only 18000rpm not 24000 as it should be, I don't know the Pd parameters that set the max rpm.

Hey Nick,

I posted a link below of parameters that many successively use with the HY VFD and China spindle.

You can also set your VFD to show HZ instead of RPM to confirm what frequency it's outputting. 300hz = 18000 rpm.
