Home and limit switches mach3 axbb-e with slave axis

Postby Damiano87 » Fri Oct 21, 2022 7:12 am

hello, I would like to connect my newly purchased axbb-e to the switches of my 4 axis cnc.
the A axis is slave of the y axis and 2 switches are mounted on each axis.
1 switch is used for home-limit and the other as limit.
I thought of connecting them in this way because by homing the axbb-e must simultaneously sense the y axis and the slave axis.
do you think this is correct?
thanks

Either configuration would work, though the second uses fewer inputs and that would make it a preferred method.

You can use the second one. You could chain the limit of the slave to the other circuit, so the second input would be only for the home. The important is to have the slave home separated.
