I'll be happy with any screen shot that uses the UCCNC controller. I agree with the encoder threading function opinion. That's one of the main reasons I stayed away from Mach.

OK What controllers to include ? Really only those that can support encoder threading apply.

Do you want to start with a UCCNC look alike screens as teh starting base ?

Yes, only ones that support encoder threading.

I started fiddling with a screenshot of uccnc appearance.

Bottom line a screenset must be adopted by cncdrive and taken forward.

That way when functions and settings are developed they will be available on the new screensets

I know it may be a minor problem but if you customise a screensets it will become somewhat version static..hence some of the possible later fields and settings will not be available for you to use (unless you add the relevant fields and check boxes etc that is to the settings screens / tabs)

I have not. Presently I do not have a way to test it.

Here is an example screen of a basic Turn Screenset for a UC300eth_5lpt. I can upload teh screenset if anyone is interested in getting started in Turn. I can also redo it for teh UC400eth if needed.

Hi Robert I have glanced at it but NOW will take a closer look. Does it has a provision for setting the RPM limit ?? That would be very important. Also IF the limit parameter is NOT called to cancel teh Function. Running CSS without teh upper limit set can be very dangerous.

I'm interested in the screen set, maybe put it in its own thread and I can have a look at updating it to current development release and then re-upload it as work in progress

Upper speed limit, yes (I'm fairly sure it was put in..... Been a while ... Many sleeps and beers since then....)

Thanks,

That's what we need it to be based as much as possible on base std uccnc graphics.... that way its easy for cncdrive to integrate + update.

I had a nightmare updating the Neuron to the newer version (not done the current development version yet), I can imagine Gerry has a similar issue with all the extra fields {I did ask a while ago about some sort of easier way to provide for OEM screens to be updated to all the new fields and other checkboxes etc
