Estop not taking assigned pin and port

Good evening, I just got done setting up a new UCBB1 with a UC300eth. Everything is working except I can't assign a pin or port to my estop. When I enter the pin and port and click apply and save it just reverts back to 0. Has anyone seen this before and has a possible fix?
Thanks,
Justin

This happens if you trying to enter a port/pin number which does not exist or if it is an output not an input for the e-stop.

Thanks, I ending up finding that same answer on another post. I am just confused, because I was trying to use i9 on CN2 on the UCBB1 board. That is hooked up to port 3 on my UC300eth. That should be an open input pin. I am using i8 right next to it for my touch probe, with no issues. . I will have to read up a little more on the breakout board. I think this was the last of the things I need to get everything working.
