There is a Remote sockets plugin with which you can control the UCCNC from external applications via websockets (TCP/IP).
So, you can set an IP address for the UCCNC and the external application can send ethernet packets to that IP address controlling the UCCNC.
You can send button calls, g-codes to execute, you can query DRO values etc.
It works like a remote control interface.

I'm sorry but I don't quite get UCCNC's versioning filosophy; Why are there so many other "stable" releases beyond the official release (1.2113). From what I can see 1.2113 was release 4 years ago?!!
When I read about all test release versions there seems to be bug fixes and new features that would be nice to have in the official release, right..?

This is what I've been saying.

There are not so many stable releases beyond 1.2113 , there is 1.2115 which is stable and no others.
1.2114, 1.2116 were not stable because they had lots of new features.
1.2117 fixed most of the bugs in 1.2116, but still some remained, especially in the brand new lathe features.
Now there is 1.2118 out which only contains bug fixes, no new features and so now we have to wait for feedback to see if users find any more bugs or not.

And I just put 1.2115 into official release on our website, this was planned for some time and was done now.
So, now 1.2115 is the stable release and 1.2118 is the development release.

Maybe update the link to the development release too because that currently leads to v. 1.2112
