DHL is usually very quick and very reliable too. From Hungary-EU to most USA locations the shipping time is only 2-3days and shipping to other European countries often take a single day.
For example we ship to Switzerland before lunch on Monday and they receive it on Tuesday before lunch. We ship a lot to Switzerland and it usually happens like that, however the distance to e.g. Zurich is about 1100kms, so it is not close. :)

DHL become my customers' favorite now. Because of trusted and good price. So First 4 UD1 boards was sent out yesterday with DHL.

I have learned the hardship from the UB1 and MB2 users. Some, tried to connect PNP output sensors to the board, some tried to connect 5V device to the board. These lead to the design UD1-U (universal input) just like most PLC in the market able to accept variety of input types. That flexibility affect the price too, because of the certain components are special and more expensive than normal.

At this occasion, I would like to say "Thank you" for you all.

Hi All,

I too now have a UD1-U on the way. I had just got done mounting a pair of CNC4PC C10s breakout boards, which are very nice for the purpose. But the C10s has no (LED) indicators, and yes is 5v only, but that's okay and easy to work with. I am now pulling those out to make room for the UD1-U.

The UD1 is very compact, has LED indicators, has spring terminals, ground-loop eliminating design, and directly integrates with the UB1... all that and more make it an excellent choice for creating a more reliable system.

For higher current switching needs I've purchased "relay modules" (5, 12, 24v) from Amazon. These are very useful, and also isolated, nearly all have LED indicators. I especially like the SunFounder 5V Relay Shield Module

Just fired up my UB1-U and 5LPT/UC300-USB.
So far so good. The only thing I have it running at this point is the spindle encoder. Ran a few tests and all was well. I'll be hooking up 6 24VDC solenoid air valves and 10 24VDC proximity sensors in the next week or two so that will be the real test.

The board is really well made and very straight forward to work with. Although the solder points are more inconvenient than jumpers I really prefer them. If your machine is like mine and in a continuous state of development you will want to leave your leads long enough to easily access the back of the board. The push connectors work well and it seems most boards seem to be heading in that direction. The instructions were very straight forward and the example pictures were invaluable to an electronics challenged person like myself:) I'm powering the 5LPT through the UB1 and so far it's fine.

I'll report back after I run the air valves. Historically for me if something is going to act up it will be from those. The relay's I ordered have snubber diodes built in.
