Help Needed: Mitsubishi D700 Series FR-D720S-100-E8 E.10H

Postby Hesham » Fri Aug 02, 2024 1:25 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm working with a Mitsubishi D700 series inverter (FR-D720S-100-E8) and encountering an E.10H error code, which indicates an inrush current limit circuit fault due to the resistor overheating. I haven't taken any actions yet and would like to know the best steps to start troubleshooting and resolving this issue.

Specific Questions:

What are the initial steps I should follow to resolve the E.10H error?
Are there best practices to prevent frequent power ON/OFF cycles that could be causing this error?
If the error persists after trying the suggested measures, what should be my next steps?
Can the Mitsubishi D700 series FR-D720S-100-E8 be configured using the RF configurator SW3? If yes, could you provide detailed instructions or point me to the relevant resources?
Details:

I haven't connected or attempted any fixes yet and would appreciate detailed guidance from the start.
Any advice or guidance on how to address the E.10H error and configure the inverter using the RF configurator SW3 would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Check the motor for ground or shorted winding.
