I finally got my retrofit/upgrade to UCCNC equipment and software up and running earlier this week. I’m starting the process of dialing in the settings, speed, etc. I’m trying to figure out why I’m getting big fluctuations in speed as the torch goes around easy curves. I’m sure I’ve got something setup wrong. I attached a link below to a video that clearly shows the issue several times.

I got an answer that works on the PlasmaSpider forum. Since it is UCCNC software settings, I’m sharing the fix here. The default Corner Error Max setting of 0.001 is way too tight of a restriction for plasma. I reset it to 0.1 and the speed around arcs is working as it should. I loosened settings for Linear Error Max and Arc Tolerance a little too.
