Good Evening to all,

I've found on e-bay this usb HID board.:

Could someone be able to write a plugin for this? I think would be great for external buttons as it have 64 inputs.

Szia. There are Modbus I/O cards available on eBay quite cheap as well... besides, the UC300 has many inputs and outputs, do you really need more?

Or buy an Arduino and download free modbus solutions. I think, you cannot go cheaper. :) It works really fine with the built-in modbus plugin. (The only problem is with modbus over IP: the Arduino library I use has some bug in it.)

You mentioned arduino .... + modbus...

I have been using Visuino of late... really good for a visual drag + drop programming software

https://www.visuino.com/

Join the visuino community and download the "Pro" version which gives you access to modbus. Its a free months trial which if you are quick will do what you want otherwise, it's $10 for a licence + 3 months of updates or another $10 for a years worth of updates.

It has been really easy to use so far for me
