A lot of times I find myself looking for a like button because I agree with or found useful what a user posted, so I have to write a useless post just to thank the user and I just won't bother.
So maybe an extension like this could be useful and may also boost user engagement.

I like this feature.
The problem is that the current PHPBB version of the forum is 3.0 and this extension requires at least version 3.2.
I will try to upgrade the forum engine in January and then we can get back to this.
